All my hair and make ups are tailor made for the individual client.

I like us to get together in person, well before your wedding date, to work through your ideas and options.

Not only is a trial run invaluable but it's fun too, please include Mum or bridesmaid/s at this appointment if you would like their opinions too.

Although there is no time limit this often takes 3-4 hours for hair AND make up, so take this into account and enjoy!

As you can imagine the nature of my job means I have very little weekend availability for trial appointments during the Summer months. Please contact me early to book in for Spring and Autumn trials, or late afternnon/ early evening slots midweek during the Summer while there is good available light.

If you are able to meet with me midweek during the day I can be very flexible and offer you much more choice. Many brides have enjoyed coordinating a morning hair & make up trial with me followed by afternoon dress fitting – this way having the benefit of a full 'dress rehearsal' before the wedding day itself. Particularly helpful if you are still undecided about details such as to wear a veil or not…….

You may like to collect pictures of hair and makeup's that you particularly like or inspirational ideas from magazines to show me, these visual aids can prove helpful to illustrate the images you like where words can sometimes fail!

I will listen carefully to your views and ideas, taking into consideration the style of your dress, choice of veil or hair ornamentation, colour themes, durability for the time of year etc; and offer ideas and advice for a solution that is flattering for your colouring and hair type.

We work together until we achieve the look that you are completely comfortable with.

All details are fine tuned, reference photos taken and detailed notes made. So that on the morning of your wedding, when time is of the essence, I can set straight to work recreating your chosen look.

Nothing is left to chance!

Also at the trial we will start to consider the time plan for your wedding preparations, and can discuss requirements for other special members of the bridal party.

If a member of your bridal party would like also like a trial run before the day this can be arranged, costs are the same as the relevant 'on the day' prices. It is not essential though and most clients are happy for me to create their look with prior consultation on the morning.
